OUR PARTNERS
Morgan County SWCD proudly partners with Morgan County Government, providing formal and informal environmental education programs for all citizens, including public and private schools (correlated to Indiana State Science Standards), to further soil and water conservation and environmental practices - with special emphasis on assisting the Morgan County Solid Waste District to provide informal education for all ages regarding solid waste and efforts to reduce landfill waste: and in collaboration with the Morgan County Partnership for Water Quality, providing public outreach and education for all ages concerning Stormwater identified in Rule 13.

Key supporting agencies include: State Soil Conservation Board, Indiana State Department of Agriculture Division of Soil Conservation, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Purdue University Cooperative Extension Program. Affiliated Agencies include: the Indiana Association of SWCDs and the National Association of Conservation Districts.

Our numerous partnerships - formal and informal - enable us to address critical issues of natural resource management.
